Is there anything better than a decadent homemade mince pie over the festive season? Yes, an Olympia Bakery mince pie paired with a glass of Backsberg’s sumptuous dessert-style Pinneau of course.
Yesterday, Backsberg paired up with one of our absolute favourite Cape Town bakeries for a very special event. 20 individuals were asked to join us at Olympia to jingle, mingle and make mince pies.
Olympia shared their very special mince pie recipe – which included a splash of Backsberg’s renowned Sydney Back Brandy – and we shared a few tips and tricks on how best to serve wine at a dinner party.
The day was truly spectacular and we look forward to seeing a few mince pie recreations soon.
