The Backsberg Restaurant is serving a delightful new Summer menu to celebrate this season. There is something to please everyone’s appetite. Choose from a light lunch, crisp salad, hearty burger or a delicious three-course lamb spit-braai. Using fresh local ingredients, the finest cuts of meats and poultry, farm-grown veggies, cheeses from the surrounding farms and seasonal berries from our farm, this menu is all about simple and wholesome family meals.

We have a varied à la carte menu, served from Monday to Saturday. Our traditional Karoo Lamb on the Spit is available every Sunday served with a selection of home-made breads, an assortment of salads, warm vegetables and Linda’s famous roast potatoes. This is followed by tea, coffee and a decadent spread of desserts and puddings.
Popular musician, Guy Feldman, will also be there to provide live guitar music and set the scene for a long lazy afternoon in the winelands. Children have plenty space to play and explore within sight of parents, who can sit back and enjoy the live music and carefree atmosphere.
Our wine list offers all the Backsberg wines as well as some special wines only available at the farm.
