BACKSBERG is a destination not to be missed on your day out or on a Cape Winelands tour. Our restaurant is open again after a short winter break. In the Tasting Room Danwin James, our sommelier, is generally at hand to share his enthusiasm and knowledge of wine.

It has been a good year and BACKSBERG received international acknowledgement for our green, sustainable approach to making wine and caring for the environment.

BACKSBERG ESTATE CELLARS is nestled in the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains just outside Paarl, the heart of the Cape Winelands, South Africa.
